Failed stucco was restored back to sound stucco and damaged clay bricks were removed and replaced with salvaged replacements. New downspouts were installed to direct water past the outer wall.
We are restoring elements of the roof, the exterior envelope and front porch, windows and doors, as well as the first floor's Council Chambers and dining room.
Durable Restoration used granite stones to repair to match the same pattern that was used in 1851 to construct the exterior walls of the seminary building.
Our historic masons removed the displaced brick and mortar that was over the center arch and replaced it with salvaged brick and applied matching mortar within the mortar joints.

Our scope of work included repairing the building's skylight, installing mirror-coated glass panels, and replicating upper vent caps and seam caps over glass rails in copper.
Our most recent project involved restoration work to the rotunda, including the box gutter at the perimeter and structural stabilization of the masonry.
