The Durable Restoration Company consolidated, filled, and painted the wood elements of the house. In extreme cases of damage, the wood needed to be patched or replaced – but this only happened if the damage was beyond repair.
The Accomack County Courthouse underwent a full restoration where The Durable Restoration Company specifically focused their efforts on the masonry restoration.
Our scope of work included removing/salvaging the roof system in its entirety, rebuilding the south masonry wall at the roof line, and rebuilding the interior masonry walls at the door openings.

Durable Restoration craftsmen rebuilt various ornaments on the church. In addition, they repaired the main sanctuary’s standing seam roofs including the wall flashings and replaced the front lower standing seam entry roof.
The restoration process of St. Andrew's Catholic Church included 3 phases. These phases included restoring both steeples, restoring the center spire with new copper, and the installation of a new Buckingham slate roof.
