Durable Restoration completed a façade preservation for Akron's 1848 Zion Lutheran Church, restoring the slate steeple and developing a custom-matched historic mortar for precision masonry repair.
Durable Restoration performed a complete dismantle and structural rebuild of the 1861 Circleville City Hall cupola, replicating historic Italianate woodwork and reframing the roof to support a 2,000-pound bell.

Failed stucco was restored back to sound stucco and damaged clay bricks were removed and replaced with salvaged replacements. New downspouts were installed to direct water past the outer wall.
We installed over a dozen steel beams and plates, along with over 1,600 engineered fasteners to strengthen the wall that supports the largest pipe organ in the state of Ohio. We will also repair the water damaged frescos, plaster columns, and plaster ceiling.

Durable Restoration used granite stones to repair to match the same pattern that was used in 1851 to construct the exterior walls of the seminary building.

Durable Restoration performed emergency repairs to the concrete base that surrounds the Matilda Stanley monument and restored the monument's concrete walkway.

The scope of work for St. John's Episcopal Church included restoring the church's front steps that cracked due to corrosion caused by the metal railings.
